BSRC Court5 – Vicious PS3 team, No.1 DRM Doublestar league ranking defeated No.3 ranking Pasukan Tennis Kg Jaring 6-2, 7-6(7-1) in Tuesdays DRM Doublestar Semi-final to clinch their 8th victory as a duo.
“It feels great to have won the semi-final match. We have been playing very solid tennis from the first set.” said VS PS3. “Pasukan Tennis kg Jaring played very well and we don’t want to receive any excuses that they were not 100% fit. On that night, we had a very good sleep and very happy with the day, first DRM Doublestar tournament ever and we reach the final, VS PS3 added.
“All players played very good tennis match and we have to congratulate them,” said Pasukan Tennis Kg Jaring team. “We don’t want to make any excuses,did try our very best on every single set and game but at the end, luck was not on our side”. Second set, Pasukan Tennis Kg Jaring hit 11 winning points more than Vicious PS3 but was broken 5 times making errors quite similar with 1st set
The No.1 DRM league ranking, Vicious PS3 will play the winner of the Semi-final #1 Anjang Harapan team (Amy – The Drop Killer & Rijal – Winner of BSRC Single Open). Dating back to the league 1st round match last few months, the big guns duo Anjang harapan defeated the mighty Vicious PS3 with the score 9-6 and this upcoming final match will be a “Greatest Double Match Ever in the country”.
Certainly Vicious PS3 team will look to avenge their lost in the 1st round league match to No.2 Anjang Harapan in the final.

WeekEnd News: 2 DRMErs Won BSRC Single Tournament

Our 2 DRMers are: RiJaL - Winner of the Single Tennis Trophy Group and Havley (Pye) Winner of the Single Tennis Plate Group

Congrats to both of you...the BSRC Tennis Single Tournament started on last Sunday and ended yesterday with the Prizes Presentation. The Group stages were divided into 4 : Champion, Trophy, Plate and Cup. Rijal and DRM tennis Captain in Trophy group, Azlan Cup group and Havley in the Plate group.

Photo above Rijal was in the group stage, he trashed out all the opponents includes the DRM tennis captain made him top of the league table Trophy group. He won the semi-final match with easy game..handal kali lah..and in the final yesterday, he knocked-out the BSRC Vice-captain with the score 6-4, 7-6. COngrats..

Pye (Havley) what an easy game for him to be the Winner in the Plate group. He totally trashed his indian opponents..belasah abis... 1st match 9-1, 9-2, 9-0 in group stage. Quite tough match as if we look at his Semi-final, but it was easy for him to send his opponent early go home (awal balik kampong..hehehe) with 6-3, 6-3. Then Final..hmm.. defeated his opponent until balik kampong india tarus..heheh..Congrats..

DRM fun Doublestar League 2008 is now coming to the 2nd round Knockout Semi-final stage confirming to be played next week 29th and 31st july at Court 4.
Yesterday Tuesday , despite this is the last week of the league, less interest shown by the other team which only one game played between Termakan Sudah Pau atu vs Vicious PS3. The fun & laughter match ended with Termakn Sudah Pau atu lost 2-9 and still have chance to proceed next round with if they can defeat their next oppponent team.

Their final game of the league defeated Termakan Sudah Pau atu 9-3, Anjang Harapan team has completed 8 matches with 7 won and 1 lost, the 1st team to reach Semi-Final with plenty of time to practise about a month. The first match of the 2nd round Semi-Final will be on this coming 5th August Tuesday.

Comment from Termakan Sudah Pau atu team on their lost..they are too good returning the ball, not much making unforced errors like what we did, takde focus lah...we made too much Double fault serve. But the main reason our lost were...we have our secret strategy..save it for the Semi..

What can we say....!! Unbelieveable close match, PTKJ (Pasukan Tennis Kg Jaring) took nearly 1 hour to defeat the No.1 team Anjang Harapan with the score of 9-8.

1st Match for 240! team, for almost a month, they did not turn up for any DRM Fun tennis practise & saja2 turun. 240 ! team (our DRMer Senior) has showed their sporting spirits & the real objective of DRM is not about winning but PLAY FOR FUN although they lost to Anjang Harapan very badly 0-9 (Anjang Harapan tak kasi muka..hantam terusss...) and defeated by PTKJ with the score 9-1.

Below Match statistic does show that 240! team made alot of unforced errors, in other words, giving opponent team free points.. (sedakah banyak2... as they said...). Their comment - Definitely we will be back..be back..for No.1 spot next week...Our game has just begun...!!!!!!

The Pau duo Model Mirol and Dee McEnroe nearly to upset the top seeds Termakan Sudah Pau atu with a crucial match ended with the score 8-9. TSPA team claimed 9 points remains 2nd place of the league on score different with Anjang Harapan one game in hand.

Match Summary

Azlan 230km/h has suffered foot injury and set be rested for 7 to 14 days. He got his left feet twisted during practice session and the injury would be worse without his teammate is a competent medical officer just finished his special medical assignment on foot injury at“KL…..”.

Finally, 1st appearance for Pau Special WYWY team, it was a good fought match but didn’t last long, a volunteer umpire stepped up and spoiled the game with a poor decision making, lost track on the score, etc. The umpire said “Menyesal ku jadi umpire, kana mare plang..arrghh…….baik jadi ball Boy…!!” Although Pau Special WYWY tried to fight back in the game particularly with Dee McEnroe’s Super Flying Smashes but Anjang Harapan team managed to maintain their pace consistently until end of the game and won with the score 9-4.

Score difference makes Vicious Ps3 on top of DRM Doublestar league table after defeated PTKJ (Pasukan Tennis Kg Jaring team) 9-4. It was very enjoyable match to watch with alots of laughing (stamina pun laju kureng), banyak deuce...then advantages in..then deuce then advantages out then deuce.. Banyak ketawa punya pasal until PTKJ didn't realise that Vicious PS3 was leading with 5-2, PTKJ tried to catch up the score with their Ace serve & main Jaring but unfortunately ketawa punya pasal lagi made PTKJ alots of unforced error and it was the time Vicious PS3 to make double counterattack on them and won the match.

DRMers JoiNed BSRC/AWE Double TouRnaMeNt 2008

There was no DRM Fun Tennis last week Tuesday & Thrusday due to the BSRC/AWE Double Tournament 2008 which only 3 DRMers joined in the fun - Rijal, Pye and the Captain. Pye and Captain teamed up while Rijal with his friend TSG kali lah..The captain was hoping that most of the Pro DRMers would join the tournament but unfortunately mostly our DRMers' reason was "We are not ready but we are ready & waiting for Grand Slam Tournament" hehehe..

So back to main topic..DRM..!!! Even most of all BSRC Tennis Committe members now know DRM..Glamour lah DRM masa ani...Nothing much Hot Stories on the Tourney...

COngrats to Rijal managed to reach to the Semi-Finalist (Trophy Division) where they lost to one of committe team 6-4, 7-5, 6-2 (maybe lah lupa..hehehe)..Pye & the Captain no need to story lah...Not enough Power Ranger & Powerpuff...Thanks to the BSRC Tennis Section Committe to make the tourney successful..Congratulation to all Winners

1st match of the league - Pasukan Tennis Kg Jaring Vs Termakan Sudah Pau atu.

Day one of the DRM Doublestar league brought more surprise as last month’s most aggressive players with his double partner 230km/h was stunned by the team Dummy Kill Shot. Dummy team ani..hmm..really killed Belia-belia Jaring’s shot with their strike and control practiced throughout the last weekend Sunday.
On the other matches, the first match of the league which Pasukan Tennis Kg Jaring was defeated by the Termakan Sudah Pau atu with the score of 6-9 (hmmmm..69.). Although the Kg Jaring managed to level the score 6-6 which they were down 6-1 for the first 7 games, but the Termakan Sudah Pau atu was really back with their stick by the power of Pau Teamwork..and finally gets their first 3 points of the league. Vicious P3 team also grabs 3points on their opening games against ! 9-3.
Last match of Day one league was between Belia-belia Jaring and Pasukan Tennis Kg Jaring which both team hard fought to get their first 3 points lost on their opening game. It was a crucial game at the first 10 games with a tied 5-5, but with the empty stomach..hungry..anger…thinking KeBab..mahu balik awal Makan makan.. Pasukan Tennis Kg Jaring finally managed to snatch 3 points from Belia-belia Jaring with the score 9-6. Overall, it was a good outcome for the first day of the league eventhough managed to do 4 matches.

DRM Doublestar league open will starts by the middle of this month April exactly on 15th April Tuesday without any interruption. Consists of 10 teams will compete to grab the Champion Trophy & want to be top best ranking in the world class of DRM tennis, and now is the time to show the skills of power control, serve, slice, topspin, and bottom spin, whatever they have.

All matches will be played only at BSRC Tennis Court 4 & 5 (To be confirmed by Captain one week advance). Every Tuesday and Thrusday..

Rules of the Doublestar League
. No Entrance Fee..
· League format (Round robin) 9 matches per team.
· Race to 9 (Only 1 set)
· Winner - 3 points…& Loser – 0 point
· Team must play at least 3 matches in 3 weeks or else point will be deducted by 6points.

Congratulation Radhi…!! Majority voted “Mohamad Radhi” as the most progressive player. At first, he started playing tennis with his own comical style & skill acrobatically hehehehe…Furthermore, he just came to the tennis court with his one racket only...come2 chicken.(turun2 ayam) But now, he is getting better and better with his new stylish racket tennis, bag, (Babolat lagi tu…RoDDick’s style yoo..) etc. Nearly every afternoon or evening, you can find him playing tennis aggressively with someone or the practise wall excitedly. We must give credit to him with his improving skills in a short time coached secretly by someone and now trying to compete with the others top seed DRMer.

Last Tuesday was the first Fun Tennis for March 2008. We were so suprised that Long Lost Drmer (G Fared) showed up with his new stylish white Nike tennis shoes (masih bau kaling hehhee..). He used to play tennis few years back with some of the Pros Section member now. He would be our DRMer Tennis Coach (DRmer Scheme...heheehe) if he still continued to play at first begining. Anyway..welcome back...!!

Next Fun tennis - Tuesday 18th March (Court 5 booked from 4pm to 9pm) plus Court 4 - To be booked by us if come earlier by 1630hrs.

What we can talk about tennis shoes......? Nothing much... just go to the shop nearby (Asmin, Rahfa, Huaho, etc)..choose the right size (not left) and style you want..have the feel..then pay... Nike & addidas are the most popular brand used by most of our fellow DRMers, it doesn't matter what brand you are buying. Most important is to have strong traction, comfort ..etc etc..but style mesti ada..baru ada...uuummpphh..heehehe..

Here is tips form the Pros.. Once your tennis shoes ruin or wreck or damage, Do not repair..Buy New one..dont ever use other type of shoes: - working shoes, golf shoes, football shoes..hehehe..Mau injure your ankle..no problem..But first rules need to remember..PLay For Fun..

WeLcome to all...

Tennis is a great sport to play and is fun, can be highly competitive or social with a few of your friends. It is great for your fitness and co-ordination skills.

The rules of tennis are very simple and all you need to play is a racquet, a tennis ball, a court (with a net) and of course an opponent. If you can't find someone to play against, you can always practise your skills by hitting the tennis ball against a wall.

To those DRMers with TenNis Section Members are mostly welcome to attend the BSRC TenNis AGM on 7th March at the BSRC Court Area.
There will be a abit of refreshment (nyam2..!!) and entertainment events (fun game...). Not too late to join the AGM, just fill up the application form for TenNis Section MemBers which charge only for $2 permonth.

VINA DEL MAR (PA SPORT) - Fernando Gonzalez ATP ranking 16 was handed the Movistar Open title when final opponent Juan Monaco withdrew from the tournament due to an ankle injury.
It was the first time a walkover has occurred in an ATP singles final since 2003, when David Nalbandian was unable to face Guillermo Coria in Basle due to a left wrist injury.

A small ceremony for DRM Fun Tennis was launched by our DRM Broad of Director, Aizul which took place in BSRC court on the 5th February 2008 with his supersonic opening serve.
His message was " Sorry, I'm late either Fun game or Tennis to play...But Game on guys.....Antam saja..hehehehe..the more sports we play the more stamina we get....". And play tennis for fun and not because of Ana or maria or henin....he added. Thanks to all DRMers who came out and played....

Along with its millions of players, millions of people world-wide follow tennis as a spectator sport, especially the four Grand Slam tournaments: Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon, and the U.S. Open. The growth of tennis in Eastern Europe and the Far East has been especially notable in recent years.

How to Play Tennis.....When you see the tennis ball, just swing using your strong arm/hand/body to hit it over the net (not below)...then run..hit again..hit.. chase the ball..then ...hit....until you beat your opponent unable to hit the tennis ball back to you..then you get your point..

How to serve..Just throw the ball in the air as you like, then hit it......but make sure your leg behind the baseline...(Jumping Serve also can....)

How to increase your stamina.....Better ask Forest Gump...
